The Pigment team attended the Art Paris Art Fair, April 5- 8 at the Grand Palais. Pigment’sfounder, Patricia Andrews-Keenan, was invited by the founders of Art Premium Magazine, aninternational arts publication based in Paris. 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Art Paris ArtFair, Paris' leading modern and contemporary spring art event. The 2018 showed played hostto 142 galleries presenting more than 990 artists from 73 countries providing an overview ofEuropean art from the post-war years to the current day, while leaving room for the newhorizons of international creation from Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Artco GalleryFounded in 2003 by Jetta and Joachim Melchers, specializes in the contemporary African artscene. It devised a two part programme for Art Paris. The first a Solo Show for MarionBoehm, a South African artist based in Germany who favors collage. She presented a newseries of portraits entitled Black Paris which are a tribute to the major figures of African,Caribbean and Afro-American inspired musical styles, who made Paris a hotspot for theAfrican diaspora in the 20s and 30s.
Artist Katay Trabulsky focuses on the battles of an endless war. She recreates spent bombshells into amazing works of art. Further she collaborates with artists in other war torn countries to create art from bombshells dropped on their countries.
The second part of the exhibit called Body Talk brings together works by Bruce Clarke, Justin Dingwall, Evans Mbugua and Ransome Stanley, which concentrates on the body, gestures and dance, to mark the occasion, dancers Small Kanoute and Wanjiru Kamuyu performed.
