Pigment International Foundation The Pigment International Foundation is a 501©3 public charity established May 20, 2019



The Mission of the Pigment Foundation is to:

  • Support pivotal projects by early and mid-career artists of color. • Grow and sustain the careers of artists of color.

  • Expand the dissemination and promotion of work by artists of color.


We accomplish our mission through our focus on ‘arts journalism,” and the production of:


• Pigment Magazine – Bi-Annual Publication • Pigment Monthly Newsletter – Distributed Digitally


• Pigment Daily – Published Three Times Per Week and distributed digitally • Pigment Salon Talks – Conversations with artists, collector and others in the Black Art Ecosystem


• Promotion of Black Fine Art Month – Held each October as a celebration of the Black Fine Art ecosystem.


The Pigment Foundation focuses on partnerships with artists, collectors, gallerists and arts organizations.
